In the last ten years, the municipal administration has given life to a significant makeover of the commercial area, which overlooks the sea and the harbor, providing the town with a wonderful coastal promenade.
The beaches represent the most important attractions to visit. One of them is Cala Moresca Beach, reachable on foot, from where walking enthusiasts can reach the striking rocky promontory of Capo Figari. Within the town, there are five beaches, all within walking distance from the city center, in addition to the splendid Baia Caddinas Beach, located in the heart of the homonymous hamlet. Along the coastal road that connects Golfo Aranci to Olbia, the choice of beaches with white, fine sand and crystal-clear waters is vast. From "Spiaggia Bianca" to "Cala Sassari," from "Sosaranzos e Terrata" to "Cala Banana e Nodu Pianu Beach," the options are abundant. Moving towards Porto Rotondo, we reach one of the most renowned and important beaches in the entire northern coast of Sardinia: "Marinella Beach." This beach is a meeting point for those who love the high society life. Equally enchanting are the small coves of Baja de Bhaas and Marinelledda, where the Marana tourist port is located.
Golfo Aranci is connected to the surrounding area by two provincial roads: SP 16 and SP 82. Furthermore, it is served by a railway line, being the northern terminus of the Cagliari-Golfo Aranci Sardinian Line. The port of Golfo Aranci is one of the main maritime ports of the island and is heavily frequented thanks to its favorable geographical position, being the closest to the Italian peninsula. Sardinia Ferries' ships dock here for connections with Livorno.
